Untitled (T-shirts) was developed as a body of textual installation work. It consisted of four texts hand-painted t-shirts that are more extensive than ordinary ones by the extent of the writing. These texts created the vivid imagery of a palpable sense of distress and anguish, which Lee observed from her mother with anxiety disorder and her own experience within. The length of the T-shirts echoed the duration of how much the anxious protagonist had to say, reflecting the culture of t-shirts as a medium for self-expression, heightening the exhaustion and discomfort.
