About Avery Gia Sophie Schramm (they/them) lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, working across various media with a focus on painting. Schramm's work addresses sociopolitical issues, the influence of digital technology on our daily lives, and their own biography. In the works "FALLING" ,"CUBE" and “CLOTHES” from 2010, the artist processed their mother's suicide. They are represented by the Anton Janizewski Gallery in Berlin and Falko Alexander in Cologne.
